The unit plays a critical role in fracture management, deformity correction, and post operative care, working closely with the Orthopedic, Emergency, and Surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Skilled Clinical Team
The unit staffed by trained Orthopedic Technicians, Nurses, and Medical Officers, working under the supervision of Orthopedic Surgeons. The team applies standardized techniques and best practices to ensure accurate cast application, patient comfort, and safety.
Patient Safety and Quality Care
Patient safety is a top priority in POP Unit. Strict protocols are followed to prevent complications such as pressure sores, circulatory compromise, and cast related infections. Patients are carefully assessed before and after cast application, with continuous monitoring and clear instructions provided for home care.
